As we enter our last week in Australia, we
have started our removal and I will spend my birthday with the removal dudes.
It has been a very hectic, draining and exhausting few weeks (or more) closing
accounts, preparing the house for rent and sorting our house into piles – stuff
for Washington, stuff to carry on the plane, stuff to pack as a settling-in kit
when return to Aust and then clean whitegoods, bbq and alike ready for storage.
The dogs seem to be ok so far but maybe a totally empty house will get them
wondering. Washington is currently experiencing one of the worst blizzards in a
long time, the metro is closed and snow is falling. It seems to crazy to
imagine. We are currently shortlisting houses to view on our arrival and I’m
enjoying every last sossy roll before we leave.
